A thought on British keyboards
British keyboards are funny. They have moved the @ down from the number 2, and put it on a special key next to the enter key. Instead of two keys from L to Enter, there are 3 keys…which I invariably hit while typing, often in combination with Enter. Here’s the funny thing, though. Walking down the street is a pain in London. Sure it’s bad because you have to look the wrong way before crossing the street. The flight was great. I moved through security quickly, got my bags and made my way to the Underground, where I hit my first snag of the day. I have been writing a proposal for the last week solid in hoped of landing this London project. Hopefully after today, the client will accept and I can start preparing. Otherwise, I have a worthless $900 ticket or more rewriting to do.

Today I was working with my instant messanger on, when I got a query from my nephew in high school. He had written his paper at home in Open Office, but then had forgotten to convert it to a Word document before coming to school. Was there any way I could help him open the paper?

Around the lake (twice)
Last night was an amazing night for me. I asked Brita to ride her bike around Lake Calhoun, which is about 3 miles. Her previous longest ride was in a neighborhood church parking lot where she ended the ride by falling.
