Field Day at LHCS is a big deal.  The whole school organizes into teams and then all the teams compete in mini-contests in the huge field behind the school building.  It is the quintessential grade school activity - and the teachers, staff and parents make sure the memories are positive for all the students.  Lars and Brita were both so excited, neither slept well the night before.  And since I was in town, I was lucky enough to attend the events this year.  Here the students are hearing a presentation from the gym teacher before heading into lunch.
