Leif, Lars and I went to Lars’ soccer game in the morning, while Brita and Gretchen went to an end-of-year soccer party for Brita’s team.  While Lars was practicing, we headed to the creek for some dad and Leif time.

The leaves have started falling and had formed a dam at a grate.  Leif and I took turns being little boys, poking the leaves with sticks and seeing if we could get the water to flow faster.  We had mixed success, but it was fun to watch the leaves floating down the stream.

After that, we walked together up the path towards Lake Harriet.  The weather was warm and it was great to have some alone time together.
