Southwest High School hosts the Southwest Minneapolis Halloween party, which had become a tradition at our house. The party features (among many things) a puppet show (better for littler kids), Magic Brad the magician, balloon animals, cookie walks, bouncy castles, games, prizes and candy.

We’ve gone every year since Lars and Brita were little and it has been a great part of our Halloween memories.

This year, Leif is an astronaut, Lars and Brita are King Peter and Queen Lucy from Narnia.

Despite our best intentions to leave early, we left late. And even though we were all tired, the time went too fast. The good news is that Halloween 2009 is just getting started.
