Last day at this client

Today is my last day working in Minneapolis for at least a couple of weeks. I have to continue training the client today and wrap up documentation. I have mixed feelings about the application I developed for them, mainly in relation to the speed the data loads. That’s what happens when testing and flexibility is limited. So what did I learn here? Always look at the size of the tables before trying to write an application that queries them. Raise the alarms if you think the application will run too slow. I also learned that web services make it much easier to see where the performance issues are. Ready to move on to Chicago.
