The meaning of uncle

Today I was working with my instant messanger on, when I got a query from my nephew in high school.  He had written his paper at home in Open Office, but then had forgotten to convert it to a Word document before coming to school.  Was there any way I could help him open the paper?

I referred him back to Google Docs, which worked.  He was able to open the paper and continue working.

And that, to me, is the magic of technology today.  My nephew can contact me from high school and I can help him all without making a phone call.  I can help him open a file or do other things that were never possible before.  It was low stress for him to ask and low stress for me to help.  And yet, we were both enriched by it.

Think about it.  At what time would asking an uncle about any topic while in school have been use to you at any time in your life.  We live in a strange world.
