Brita’s 6th Birthday

Yesterday we had Brita’s 6th birthday party.  Brita wanted a ‘Fairy Party’ and she invited 6 of her closest friends to come over for a magical day of fun.  Luckily, Brita has Gretchen as a mother, who went all out.  She decorated the entire house with flowers, streamers and balloons.  She helped Brita make fairy signs and gave her ideas for making it more fairy-like.

Gretchen made up a bunch of fairy activities, including ‘Feed the Unicorn’ (race a ball in a spoon), fairy crown making (complete with ribbons, markers and sparkly stickers), and make your own cupcakes.  All birthday-comers came to the house and were met at the door by Brita and sprinkled with fairy dust.  It was an amazing day.  Gretchen showed what an amazing mother she is and Brita’s face says it all.
