A Good Friday

Yesterday was Good Friday, the weather was warm and the lakes had finally melted all the way. That meant it was a perfect day for a bike ride with the kids.

For this ride, we all decided to head down Lynnhurst Field on the south end of Lake Harriet. The trip was excellent and the kids got some excellent street experience. When we got to the park, Leif and Brita immediately went to the equipment and started playing with other kids. Lars and I played catch and all of us enjoyed the sunny warmth of the early spring day.

For a Minnesotan, this is the euphoric time when winter is forgotten and everyone tries on their short-sleeve T-shirts and goes outside. Summer is right around the corner - we all felt it.
