We hosted the family for our annual Easter dinner. One of the things I love about Gretchen is that she brings a lot of tradition to our holidays from her family. In this case, she makes a lamb or bunny cake each year and invites the kids to decorate the results.
But that isn’t all. This year Easter fell on the day after Gretchen’s birthday. She still managed to make the cake, celebrate with Leif all day on Saturday, make breakfast for a church fundraiser, and then make a full gourmet meal (pork loin, potatoes, green beans, salad) for Sunday afternoon.
The meal was delicious and Gretchen was patient throughout the day. It made the Easter special for our entire family.
