Twiblr Projects

Occasionally, we try different experiments and projects at Twiblr.  Below are some of the projects we have tried and/or are trying.

Spain

2011 was the year we visited Spain.  Thanks to Gretchen’s extended family (Uncle Michel, Aunt Nancy, Bill and Ursula), I can say it was the most enjoyable, eye-opening and amazing trip that we have ever taken as a family.  This is my photo essay on our trip.

8 Pictures

What happens when you give a child a camera and give he or she the freedom to shoot anything that comes to mind?

I fantasized when I was young about what it would be like to have a camera.  So, I bought a cheap digital camera and put one kid on the job each weekend.   Lars, Brita, and Leif have the camera and are allowed to shoot anything they want.  We then have a viewing on Sunday night and then have Lars, Brita and Leif pick the 8 most meaningful pictures.  The rest are deleted and we start again.

I am excited about the possibilities and it’s great to see the world through their eyes.

The Airplane Project

The airplane project is an on-again, off-again project to make all the paper Airplanes from the book ‘The Best Paper Airplanes’ and photograph the results.  It’s time to get out the book and continue on with this project.

London

Photographs and impressions of London that I posted from working the from October 2008 - January 2009.

This collection of posts also includes the infamous London PB&J post, which is the most viewed page on my blog.  I learned from this post that we all truly live in a global society and it has the distinction of being my only post (to date) that generated an angry rebuke.
